We are a member of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC), one of the world’s largest and oldest women’s volunteer service organizations-founded in 1890.



Headquartered in Washington DC, GFWC has more than 100,000 members in affiliated clubs in every state and in over a dozen countries.

GFWC clubwomen are true volunteers in action-during the 2007 reporting year members raised nearly $20 million on behalf of more than 268,000 projects, and volunteered more than 4 million hours of their time in the communities where they live and work.
