At the March GFWC/CT meeting a motion was passed to support The American Mural Project. This project encompasses Arts in the Community, Education, Conservation and Beautification in some form so it seems fitting that our organization is promoting it.
When completed the mural will be 5 stories high and 120 ft. long, the roof is being raised on the building to house this project. The mural is not yet complete but many pieces of this mural are available for viewing and the artist Ellen Griesedieck has offered to give GFWC/CT private tours at the Winsted location.
